You misread part of it...

Somebody asked if it was IRS (Independent REAR Suspension) or solid axle rear, the reply was solid axle rear.

As far as a MT V6, I find that hard to believe considering it's a global platform, but who knows?

I would believe a V6 before I would believe a MT.

I'm fairly sure there was a little bit lost in translation there.

Looks like a pretty normal FZJ-105. Has the 4.5L Inline 6 with a 5-Speed manual transmission, front and rear solid axles, and front and rear lockers. Has been offered since about 2000 or so.

1st - I looked at the Toyota UAE site that's linked in one of those posts - How in the world do you get 10(!) people into a 105?

2nd - and this is much funnier, is the 6cyl engine the reason this happened?

Easy, 3 in front, three in 2nd row, 2 in each of the rear, center facing, jump seats.

That could have a 2UZ V8 or a 1FZ inline 6, probably other reasons for it being stuck.
