I managed to fins a Craigslist score.

2006 DeWalt D55270 Heavy-Duty 5.5 HP 8 Gallon Gas Wheeled Portable Air Compressor.

I have always wanted a gas compressor for changing tires off road and I finally found the deal I wanted. Tire changes made easy at the pits :D

$150 and it starts with a single pull every time.

Anyone have one of these?

Suggestions on oil for the piston/honda motor???

you gonna need to tow that thing to go offroad with it... :)

(or put one more belt from the engine to the wheel... :D )

that's a sweet deal jason.
those go for up to $700. for some models.

i had to buy one for my bender.

60 gal. Puma, 5hp motor that puts out an average 13 cfms
$529. from a local farm store.

:D

even a blind squirrel...................

you could get a big tank in the garage -if you haven't one already- and then have a big line from this compressor to the tank, and presto you have a great shop system too...

Non detergent air compressor oil in the air compressor, whatever you want in the gas powered motor.

If you want, I can ask my friend at Dewalt what exactly to use.

He's a tool rep out in your area.

Already got a 80 gal in my garage and a 60 gal out at mom's place.

This is for running air tools out in the middle of no where. And adding air to the tires of the 40 back at camp :)

Although I might add it to the current compressor when I am sandblasting for a bit more oomph..

Thanks Colangnut I appreciate it.
