I assume we have to vote on it at the next meeting which is only a week away if it can wait.

the 37 degree stuff is for any of the "racing" fuel/brake fittings. It is also usually the type of fitting you find on conversion hydraulic power steering hoses or ram assist hoses.

*not fact, just what i remember*-- "AN" is military spec aluminum or exotic metal, "JIC" is steel/stainless hydraulic plumbing spec. they both share the same taper.

Its handy to have because someone makes an adapter to convert almost all specific vehicle manufacturer type fittings to AN/JIC. I'm liking them more and more as i use them.

I can bring mine and also some material to the next meeting to show you guys how nice it is and some of the cool things you can do with it. Let me know!

Yes, please. I can already see a few uses for both of theses.

Cool. Yes. Bring so we can get a live demo. I forgot meeting was so close.

Just to update everyone, at the meeting, we voted to allocate $400 for the purchase of the universal tool, including the 37 deg kit. Stump is going to check with John Smith about the list of tools, if there is a spreadsheet so we can start keeping better track them.

One thing to consider, I don't believe the club has any brake line bending tools. Most of us who work on our rigs already have these, and they are not that expensive to buy, but we may consider buying some for the club. It would be nice to assemble an entire little tool kit that would prevent borrowers to have to run out and buy/borrow additional tools to finish a job.

We are looking into pricing and as soon as we have it assembled, we will make the purchase.
