I am starting to upgrade my cruiser's internals.

Full AutoMeter Electric Gauges (W/Lotek A pillar mount)
- Temp, Oil Press, Vac.
- Alpine CDA-9883
- Hella Map Light

Has anyone ever built/bought an additional circuit that could power additional accessories?

I would love to have an additional switched circuit block/fuse block that I could run to...

For things like that I'd just use those add a fuse thingys that turn one fuse terminal into two

WestMarine is a good place to find fuse blocks. A lot of folks have just tied in the new fuse block straight to the battery. If it is switched power you want, I think I would tap into an exisiting switched 12v wire and run a relay to add power to the new fuse block.

If you are just adding one circuit, an inline fuse would be fine rather than a fuse block.

You may also want to search the 80s forum - those guys seemed to be doing more of this stuff.
