Normally post in the diesel section but this is more 60's tech. I have an 87 HJ 60 that a bought a few months back. Has a 2H 5 speed and an ARB on the front. It didn't have any rear bumper yet so over the past week I decided to make one up. I also made some sliders.

Bumper was made with e 2x4" rectangular tubing backbone and then filled in with smoe flat bar. The sliders are 1.25" sch 40 pipe. Ya I know its not DOM but it is DAMN cheap...

Now for the pics.

I wanted the slider to protect me at the side to so thay hang out a bit an act as a step to reach the roof rack.

And the sliders.

I would have taken some over all pics but I was in my heated garage and its like minus 40 out right now.....

Other mods to the truck are a turbo with 3" straight pipe.

2.5" lift

Soon to order an aussie.

Rear bumper looks great!

I like the sliders too, but schedule40 pipe bends REALLY easy. I had trouble keeping my HREW straight with all of the heavy hits.
