Just wanted to say hello. Couple weeks ago I purchased a 1988 BJ73 and just wanted to see if anyone else is in the Sarasota area. I know there are a few 40 series around town, not sure if anyone here owns them.

Cheers,
Nigel

Congrats on the purchase.

I just replied to your PM asking if you found something. I guess I got my answer.

Can't wait to see it. I've never actually seen one in person. On second thought maybe I don't need to see it, it'll probably just make me regret not holding out and getting what I really wanted.

Does it run and drive okay? You have any plans for modification or repairs? Is it left-hand drive or right-hand drive?

You can't be skimping on the pics.

Nice!
A guy in Tampa has a 40 with turbo'd 3B that he brought back from Japan.

Your 70 series should turn allot of heads around here. I've never seen one in Florida.

My brother in Costa Rica owns a BJ73 and a PZ75 pickup.

Thanks. So far it hasn't blown up! :) Have had a few little things to fix, but nothing major. Been running strong and fires up perfectly every day. I just put the tires on and a full(ish) size spare in the rear...better radio...already turboed....will be working on a tool box for the rear and a snorkel soon. When money allows the front porch will be gone! RHD, took all of a day to get used to.

Costa Rica gets some really cool rigs. The 1HZ is my dream engine.

Thanks everyone, I'm in Sarasota so if you are ever around message me...grab a couple pints.
