so...my front end is starting to pop some...started tugging on the wheels and fine some play on the passenger side...and twice as much on the drivers...so i figure if i am gonna diig into it i might as well replace the wheel bearings and seals....recommend a vendor....please

Contact Georg, OrangeFJ45 on the board. I got my whole rebuild kit from him. Super fast and the price is good, save time from looking up all the part numbers.... But go with the Marlin axle seals...

I agree that all of these vendors are good options, but don't forget IPOR is always a strong supporter of ONSC too, and Lance and crew are top notch.

But they just ship you trail gear rebuild kit with CMC "made in China" bearings. Some of us prefer timkin or koyo

Not so much anymore i do not think.

Adam had issues and i called them for some stuff and got some strange answers. This is just me speaking here though, and i have had good stuff from them years ago.

I feel your pain Adam, but I will say this. I have used Georg several times in the past, and while he ALWAYS made things right, I have missed trips due to incorrect shipping / wrong part shipped issues. IPOR is a sponsor of our club though, so I would caution on the verbiage used here and just post up your experience. I would hope and can only imagine Lance would make things right for you and if not, I certainly respect your right to share your experience. I try to promote IPOR because they do great work and they always come through as a sponsor.

Wow, I hate to hear this.

Funny thing though, as many people badmouth JTO on here, I have made multiple orders from them and never had a single issue. I am personal friends with Joe Turpin, so (I doubt it), but that might have made a difference - at least years ago.

Maybe some candid feedback to Lance is in order, because, I very seriously doubt he'd let IPOR's rep suffer with a local club and a fairly decent sized (potential) customer base.

I'm with you Ramon on JTO. I've had no problems with them either. I'm still running the slave cylinder, drum brake accessories, that I ordered from them years ago with no issues...

My post on JTO didn't make sense - my point was anecdotal issues are just that. Not that IPOR is perfect, which Adam has obviously confirmed :) but I want us collectively be careful about how we publicize our frustrations. Don't want to alienate anybody, but we all have a right to bitch when someone's customer service is not living up to expectations.

IMHO I think what IPOR makes is top notch. Lance is a great guy and they have always supported our club so for the most part I will buy just about anything in their inventory.

they don't make their rebuild kit though as it comes from trail gear and I wouldn't trust the bearings personally. Most of the times seals are good no matter where you get them from but I will only use timken and koyo in my rig.

the marlin seems like a good deal ( 128ish$ with trunion bearings)....but I will still have to get wheel bearings and thrust washers....

Marlin should have the wheel bearings also.
FYI. toyota discount prices.
92 fj80 front axle bearings (this is just one side).
90368-45087 outer = 26.96
90368-49084 inner = 53.66
90311-62001 inner seal = 12.02
