Holler at me when you get ready to try it. Too much to list to look for

Center diff light will not turn on until it is engaged. Front and rear will flash until engaged.

That makes sense, and is easy enough to tell.

Alrighty, I'll wait on it for a bit. I'm definitely going to go that route…but it might be a little while before I'm able to with the other stuff on my plate now.

I meant just call me when you put the fuse in.
Mainly to test, you want to be OFF pavement. In a field big enough to do figure 8's in. Also big enough to drive forward 50ish yards and then back up same distance, and really go back and forth.
This will not cost you anything. FREEBIE. Except maybe a fuse. LOL.

Oh…haha. Well, maybe I'll start that thread and start stockpiling parts. I'll give you a call when I pop that fuse in to give the lockers a whirl…but that initial list is a big help.

With our 80 I found the front diff harness unplugged; plugged the wiring back together and the front diff would lock.

To reiterate the center diff must be locked before the rear or front will lock. Center diff lock light must be on for the axle lockers to hook up. Sometimes simply engaging low range is not enough as the center diff lock sensor may not kick in, and it must be working for the axle lockers to work. As Speeder said take it out on a dirt patch, slap the t-case into low range and drive it to make sure the center diff locks. Switch on the axle lockers and drive in circle. If they're working the lights will be lit solid and you'll feel a difference in the driving, especially when the front diff is locked.

Thanks Jim! That's helpful info. I'll check the harnesses to make sure they're plugged in, and the info about the center diff lock light will make diagnosing it easier too. I really hope it's something as simple as an unplugged harness or a missing fuse…

Tonight, we dropped her off at Gear Grinders up in Argo to let Jay swap out the PHH and try to get our AC up and running. Hopefully he can manage to get my old o2 sensor off too. Will try to figure out what's up with the lockers after we get her back.

So it's 1.25 and 1.5 afterall? Well, I guess it is pretty easy to do. A lot easier than reversing the mistake…

Picked up some Depo clear corners and running lights. Nothing major…but cleaned the front end up a good bit.

I'm missing Tapatalk. It sure made it easier to post up pics…
