Devo did not forget about you brother! I got the whole radio but it didn't have the knob on there, although I'm pretty sure it was with all the misc. that I picked up off the floor....when I get everything sorted I will check but again pretty sure it's there.



You guys are not going to believe this.....another one this time a 94 just showed up at the same yard and this one looks like it's been done up and not really all that smashed!! It has what looks like new paint, clear markers and tails, even the rear hatch still on it! Going to try and get over there today.....

Of course it’s supposed to rain all day today….damn it. This one looks like someone cared for it well they slapped a bunch of aftermarket crap on it, really want to get to it ASAP. Don’t know if I really need anymore interior trim but hell if those seats have been recovered and the dash cluster is still there, the wheel and who knows what else….!!!

Okay, examine the pics closer it looks like a cloth interior and the steering wheel has a cover on it, not surprising. That cluster and ECU would be nice if they’re still in there….not so sure if they’re any good for my 97 though. Rear hatch would be nice also, also has those crappy rear tail guards on it. Lights all look to be in good shape, looks like he picked up the same clear markers and sides that I have…

I don't know how you're getting this lucky. If those cloth seats are in decent shape, those will fetch a premium. I don't think the ECU is compatible since we're talking OBDI vs OBDII.

Most of the interior trim is NLA so it pays to have it. I need it for one of my 80s. I need all the glass too!!

If it's oak I need all the door cards (unless the door cards are cloth too which they probably are) and interior plastic trim. I want the grab handles and the little screw covers for them.

Get the VAF for me. I have a dear friend who needs it for his 80.

Wanted to pass along that there are 80s in salvage yards scattered around the country. @Francis K is generous to help but for parts he can't get or that are too large to ship you can search sites like the following to find parts in your area:

I know that there are other sites that may be better and that of course not all scrapyard cruisers end up online.

I periodically search for some a common part (wheel, door, similar) on the above site to find all of the landcruisers and look at the pictures of the 80s in my region to get an idea if they are of interest. Once I get a list of yards with cruisers in them I'll drop by if/when I'm ever traveling nearby, etc. Over time I've knocked most of the parts that I was looking for off of my used parts list. Typically the 80s are picked over and don't look like the pictures online which I think typically are taken when the 80 first shows up.

Total bust guys, interior was grey and already ripped apart and what wasn’t was trashed. Exterior was rusted up good, lights were broken…..just got a few misc bs.
