I try to help them out with what ever they are doing or need done. The last two weekends were spent cutting up most of the 200 or so tree that blew over during a severe windstorm (68mph winds) a few weeks ago. The FJ40 became the tree skidder. I used a couple of chain saws and my log plitter as well. The enire neighborhood has firewood for the entire season. After Dark I worked on my Tow rig. (72 GMC 1-Ton 4x4 with a Cummins Diesel)

This weekend was a 22RE project. This weekend will be spent building fence during daylight hours and working ont he 45 Extended Cab project after dark.

It all works out since they keep a sharp eye on my place when I'm gone during the week. They set a new bench mark to neighborhood watch. :D

Seems your quite handy around the neighborhood there D'... ever think about moving to Texas? ..We could use a crusader like yourself.....

hey dan...i have a chainsaw and should be around friday and saturday...let me know if you want some help.

The belts on this have been kicking my butt for that couple of hours. I have been trying to figure out how I took those belts off this dang truck

I found out why. My neighbor, owner of the truck came over when I was in the library. He grabbed the belts to get some new ones in town. He just got back with the old belts and the new belts. He grabbed my trail spares for my 2F and put them in the same spot. He thought since they were Toyota trucks they would all be the same. I have been trying to figure out how to install 2F belts off this dang truck for the last two hours. LOL!

If he wasn't 87 y/o and I was not laughing so hard, I think I would have kicked his butt.

Hey D'... best to use lock-tite on those exhaust studs, they're prone to work loose, when disturbed... that is, iffn its not too late...

I'm laughing Dan! Not just bout the dang belts.... lOL! well thats the main reason why... LOL but also cuzz I could have sworn that that was my 22re your working on... then I realized that your block only has one hole through and not two like mine...
