Started browsing for a 100 series a few months ago, went looked at a few but wasnt really happy with what i was finding so kind of put the search on the back burner. Until we got this thing in on trade over the weekend. Its a locked 99 with 174k on the clock that has extensive service history from the local toyota dealership. I drove it around a bit and pulled it in the shop for a closer look. Found both front cv's to be leaking and noisy and a slight leak from the steering rack both of which i know are common problems but thats about it. I was pleasantly surprised that it has old man emu shocks all the way around and BDS torsion bars up front and i later found out it has a diff drop kit as well. So i picked it up before the other prospective buyer showed up.

.

I replaced both cv's with new units from toyota. A week or so later the check engine light came on. replaced b1 s1 o2 sensor.

a few days later a baja rack came up for sale a couple of hours away so i made an offer and picked it up. figured it will come in handy to drag my kayak around this summer.

following week i pulled the flares and running boards off to ditch the mall cruiser look. A couple of days later in my infinite search of cruiser parts in the classifeds here i came across an arb front bumper and a set of OPOR sliders a couple of hours away. One phone call and another offer later i sealed the deal and met the fellow mudder half way. So all in less than a months time i not only managed to pick up a truck but also get pretty much everything i've wanted to do to a 100 done to it. With the exception of a slee rear swing out :)

Welcome and nice mods so far!

good to see your post here, roma. Hundy looks great!

And I hope to see her at Mardi Krawl this year, I can help you with some scratches! :D

it is a 99 and the bumper is 03 04 nope no modifications to fit. the light bar on the front of the rack is removable. I took it off because it wont fit in the garage with the light bar on.

Thanks, I didnt think I was going to be able to run the more appealing(my own opinion) 03+ bumper.
Thanks for clearing that up!
