Thanks to a forum member I have entered the world of Old Land Cruisers and in less than 24 hours have become a little addicted.... Either way Im in the need for a nerf bar, running board, or something similar for my 1993 80's Series Land Cruiser. This will be my wifes everday vehicle and right now she has a hard time getting in and my 6 yr old can't even get up there (has 37's on it)... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll save you the flaming and point you in the right direction..

Read the entire FAQ section found in the stickies (https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-...-dec-2012-added-cdl-wiring-modifications.html)

When you're researching a topic, before you pose a question, do a search in this section. Keep in mind this forum has been around a long time and there are no "new issues" popping up unless its aftermarket related.

If you plan on wheeling in the rocks, get some MetalTech or SLEE sliders. They protect your rocker panel and function as a step.

Welcome to the addiction!

If you are planning on taking it off road, look into rock sliders. Slee, Bump-it-Offroad, and others have good step sliders available that will protect your rockers ($$$ to fix). Make sure they are for the 93-94 model since there are changes between 94 and 95 that make them incompatible (without extra work).

If this will not go off road at all, ask around and someone on here (see the classifieds at the top) will likely have a take-off set of running boards for very cheap. Depending on your lift though, the stock running boards may not fit with 37s, so you might want to check first.

(Also, where are you located? Someone might even have a set that you could pick up if you mention where you are.)

Welcome to Mud!
