Tools:
Small flathead screwdriver
Long Needle nose tweezers (I suggest tweezers, plyers will not allow you to manouver the grommet to put string around it inside).
Plyers and something like medium size block of wood; or use the handle of a socket wrench or small hammer.
Thick piece of string (near 1cm)
Blow dryer or heat gun.
Vacuum cleaner.
Headlamp to see inside the valve cover.

Steps I used:
1) Use your car for a normal trip into town - heats up the valve hose and grommet so its more malleable.
2) Set up your car in a place you can work
3) Pop hood, take off PCV hose.
4) Use a small flathead screw driver , place vacuum next to grommet. Pluck up grommet edges. Go around the entire thing until top edge is removed. Vacuum vacuum vacuum.
5) Once u have that all off, put a pair of strong plyers around the top of the valve, then put a block of wood underneath the plyers, leavering the valve upwards until it pops out. Try to have the vacuum close to the grommet if stuff chips off.
6) Grommet will most likely fall into the hole - don't panic. Get your headlamp ,needle nose tweezers and thick piece of string. Pick up the grommet inside the valve housing and tie that piece of string to it - make the knot strong or use additional cable tie around the knot.

7) Get your heat gun or Dryer , pull up the string so the grommet is at the top of the PCV valve hole and heat it up whilst pulling. This will break a perfect piece out of the grommet and drop the rest back in the hole. Make sure the string is atleast 1cm thick so the break is bigger , so you can squirm the left over piece of the grommet out of the PCV Valve hole (it will go with some working).

8) Once the left over grommet is out, vacuum vacuum vacuum the hole to make sure anything brittle comes out. But should be nothing if you are careful enough.
9) Give it a wipe, put new grommet in the PCV valve hole. Put the Valve in next, pushing down as much as possible then pulling up again. Put hose on. DONE.

How old is this sh*t wow

Footnote: Idles around 800rpm now (more or less) rather than about 750RPM previously.
Idle just seems stronger now more stable, especially when stopping at traffic lights .
I don't recall it being lumpy at all before, just quite a weak idle especially after starting the car.
If it did idle at 750RPM before rather than 800RPM , well that would be what I am noticing.
