I was putting on some new tie rod ends when i discovered that my passanger side knuckle arm has a crack in it.:censor: Does anyone have one that will fit a 1977 fj40? Does anyone know if it can be welded?:hhmm:

I've seen folks weld them without issues on trail trucks but not sure I'd trust it on one that sees street use. I should have one though. Do two things for me - just measure the distance from stud center to stud center as close as you can to confirm the one I send you is the right size and pm me your address and I'll get one in the mail to you.

I will get right on that. Let me know what you want for it and shipping to 72764. I can paypal you or send you check/money order. What ever payment you prefer. From what I have seen on the web used ones are $40-50 bucks.

If it's the small bolt pattern that I think it is I don't need anything for it. Should have several from past builds. Happy to help a brother out.

if one from a mini truck will work i'll give it to ya if you come to the April 9th event at Superlift :)

Tie rod hole size is different. LC TRE's are smaller. You can use a bronze starter bushing to make a LC TRE work with a mini truck arm though.

I have access to one from a 74 drum brake axle that uses small pattern arms if you need it.

Thanks guys wanabecruisen has one on the way. Planning on coming to the April event though.
