Hey guys,
I am trying to keep my ears to the ground for a set of 37" stickies. I guess if any of you are looking for the same, I'm actually shooting myself in the foot asking for help :)

I missed on an awesome deal on 5 Maxxis Creepy Crawlers that sold in an hour on NC4x4. I have put up a couple of posts WTB, but haven't found the deal I am looking for yet.

If you see any of the following, please either text or call or pm me:

37" (nothing over a 18" wheel) in these tread patterns
BFG Krawler
Maxxis Creepy Crawler
Maxxis Trepador
MTR (new yellow stripe stickies)
Irok Competition (pretty rare)

I appreciate anyone's help, and I'm capping my budget around 1500ish.

Desert rat has the Krawlers for $490 each. The non street legal ones are just over $500 each. Look at the wheel combo packages cause they are delivered mounted and balanced for the price listed.

they were 50.00 cheaper per tire then any place i looked when i got my hankook's (probably due to free shipping and no tax.).

have you checked with fred anderson, could they order any in on discount?

you really need to check with gary down in havelock

That's pretty cool. I was unaware they only come in 14"... wonder how those look on the 40? I really prefer tall/skinny.

I guess I was more looking for a smoking deal on a used set, as in if you see something on CL or Pirate. I've got a call in with my tire guy on a new set of Krawlers, so we'll see how that looks too :)

Thanks folks!

yeah I'm with you. I prefer a 12.50 too, but some times the wider look just looks cool. we'll keep looking. :grinpimp:

I'll keep my eyes out. I saw those creppies too. They are the same ones I was trying to get back in september but the guy sold them 5 minutes before I called him. Guess the buyer didn't like them that much.

Same tire just in the 16" variety with yota bead locks and you do get a spare with this one. Also looks like they have more meat on them.

Hey Thanks Al, but that's just not the tread I am really after. Good deal on both those IMO, with the beadlocks included.

Question to all:
I have a line on some 37 Creepies - but they are 15". Am I making a mistake to stay in a 15" wheel for that size tire? One benefit is I already have 15" wheels, so that would save me some and I could sell just my tires (current BFG's) without have to worry about ppl not wanting 6lug/15"/etc.

Thoughts?

I would stick with the 15" wheels for 37s, unless you plan to go up on tire size in the future. Anything 39" and over I would recommend 17" wheels. That's just too much sidewall, it creates a lot of bounce.
