Guys,
One of my neighbors is getting out of NC, moving back to the Southwest where he came from. He doesn't want to move ANYTHING. So, he is liquidating his garage.
I met him when he saw my tubing bender from the street and he had to drop by to see what I was building. He built rock buggies in AZ and has quite an extensive tool box/garage set up. Here is the email he just sent me with a partial list of what he is wanting to get rid of. He is a good guy and spent a bunch of time with me, helping me understand the tubing bender as well as just talking off-roading.
When I talked with him on the phone, he also said everything inside is up for sale also. He clearly doesn't want to rent anything to tow across the country. He said he wants to be out of town next week so this might be a "fire sale". I know I'll be over looking at some tools before the weekend...

Send him an email or give him a call if you see anything that looks tempting. I told him I'd post this up so he is expecting some cold calls.

Jerry,
Attached are some pictures of some of my tools for sale, the work bench, one of the tool boxes, and the power tank that I have for sale.
I have some steel that I want to give you, and I'll make you a screaming deal on the 1 3/4 DOM tube I have. How about $20 for the two 10 foot pieces?
I have WAYY TOO MANY Craftsman tools to list - I have every socket from 3/16 to 3 1/2 inch - in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch drives, 4mm to 27 mm in metircs, plus all the extensions, swivels, and specialty tools.
I have 4 jack stands. 2 are 6 ton ratcheting ones, and 2 are 2 ton ratcheting ones.
I have hub sockets, bearing tools, ball joint tools, all kinds of pullers and presses, . . .
AIR TOOLS! Yeah, I have lots of air tools too! Drills, body saws, air hammers, several impact wrenches, most of it is Ingersol Rand.
I'd like to get $150 for the power tank - it's almost full of CO2. It is a 60 cubic foot tank (about 30 inches tall) and it has a 100psi fixed output regulator on it, and a 5 foot reinforced rubber hose with a tire chuck. The hose and the regulator both have quick change chucks on both ends.
The work bench is 6 feet long, and 30 inches wide. I think it's 36 inches tall. It has three 2x10's for the top, so it is very beefy. The frame is all welded 1 1/2 x .120 wall tube and was powdercoated blue. I'd like to get $50 for it.
I'd like to get $30 for the big tool box. It is 40 inches wide by 27 inches deep by 20 inches tall - I'm guessing, I haven't measured it. I bought it from the state auction place in Raleigh for $50. It is VERY heavy duty. It was an old blueprint cabinet. The drawers are all ball bearing rollers. No dents, just ugly military green color.
I have some chains, nylon tree saver, a chocker chain, extra tow hooks, and a 12,000 pound come-along. Just make me an offer.
All prices are best offer, so don't feel bad making me an offer, as long as it's reasonable.
Call me at 919-428-5901.
John
