i did a 13Bt swap on an fj60 and need a new tach sensor for it. anybody know the part #? i tried the dealer to no avail and could'nt find it on toyota diy.......
Its in the gearbox section I dont know why they do that
Its called the DETECTOR ASSY, REVOLUTION 83180-60040
I used the Japanese models ,so it would be a 24v if that makes a difference

FWIW the detector doesn't care about the voltage, but there is a different part number for pre 84/11 BJ60 One can assume it has to do with a difference in the thickness on cast iron Bellhousing.
Number shows good on my US parts disc, $140 ret.
If you want one for a bunch less we have some used ones pulled out of JDM BJ7 alum bellhousings.

Don't have any cast bellhousings kicking about anymore to take a pic of. IIRC The Bellhousings should have a round flat spot cast into them on the right side. Roughly 3/4" diameter hole. Center of hole 7/8" in from the face of the Bellhousing that meets the backing plate.
Revolution detector assy 89180-60040 is same between BJ70 and 84/11 up BJ60 regardless of voltage.
Pre 84/11 BJ60 is a different part number 83180-60030 likely because of the cast iron Bellhousing, not voltage.
Sorry Georg, don't have a 12v BJ60 tach available at the moment.
