Anyone local 80 experts willing to show me how to do this?

I replaced my TPS and while my stalling, hesitation issues are gone, it seems my idle while in park/neutral is kinda high at 1200rpm while warmed up and no AC on....

Shift points may be off too...not real sure, could be my imagination.

I'm very happy to pay for your expertise, thanks!

Your throttle assy needs to come off then metered while Positioning the throttle lever with a feeler gauge at certain gaps

I don't know what the display numbers should be per certain Throttle Positions but if you could obtain a FSM or the specific numbers from someone on the board it is a relatively easy procedure.

I have a 1991 also and could maybe check your truck out, sounds like your TPS is out of adjustment though, I think you need to rotate it counterclockwise to get idle lower should be 650 ish.

Ok, well let me know.

Let us know what happens.
