I work from home and my task chair sucks balls My neck and shoulders are screaming after about four hours of working. Frequent stretching, moving around and walking around help but I really need to invest in a task chair with multiple adjustments.

Unfortunately, buying the Aeron chair is out of the budget but do keep an eye out on CL for an used unit. Let me know which brand of task chairs are working for you. I'm 5'10" height, 160lbs. I'd like something that can support my neck for those occasional snooze while "working" :D

Thanks.

The Aeron is the way to go. I had one at a previous job and it was great. Now that I've been working from home, I had back aches from several different chairs. Got an Aeron off of CL and its been pain free since. Make sure you get a B. I am suited to a C but bought the B and its fine.

I'm keeping my eyes open on CL. Thanks for the info.

However geekdesk has helped me a great deal. I change positions frequently. Stand for part of the day, I have a stool and adjust the desk to that height. Sit in the chair sometimes. The key is to change, and not be in the same position for 10 hours, staring at the monitor

found couple in my local CL. Price is going from $350 - $400. Does this sound good to y'all?

I really like the Knoll Life and Knoll Generation chairs. We replaced some Aeron chairs with these at work and I picked up one for home. They sometimes go cheap on eBay compared to the Herman Miller.
