Need some help on mounting new aftermarket speakers

Hey all,

I have a 2005 LC with the JBL system. I picked up some Polk MM6150's components for the front. I followed the instructions on removing the old driver, which was attached by metal instead of plastic like in the pictures. I am having trouble finding a base to drill the speaker to. Under the foam, it doesn't have a significant amount of metal or plastic to hold the speaker. Any ideas?
