Need some help in Abbotsford, Beer's on the menu!

Hey folks,

I need some help on Sunday evening or Monday afternoon or evening if possible. I figure cruiserheads would appreciate a nice frame more than my neighbours

I need 3 guys to help me take the frame off my roof rack and put it in the back yard. It's not too heavy about 300 lbs, it's more awkward than anything.

I'm thinking if I can get a few guys to come over either around 5 or just after 7 that would be great.

Oh yes and there's a :beer: or :beer::beer: in it for those who can help. Just reply in this thread, pm or email rodtrue(at)shaw.ca

I'm in Abbotsford near the Auto Mall.

Doubledown and GG, both of you in for Sunday. Would 7:30 work for both of you? I'm sure we can get one, maybe two more (the more the merrier they say) for Sunday evening around that time.

Jeff, now that would look really funny! Like you said perfect recovery if turned upside down (did that about 18 years ago in a nissan minitruck, wasn't fun)

Reviving an old thread.

I've been out of cruiserdome for about 8 months now and it's time to rekindle the flame.

Also, I'm finally getting the frame swapped on my rig and well, I need some help getting it back up onto the truck. I've got a set of wheels though that can be put under the frame to roll one end of it (standing on end) so it should be a bit easier to move this time around.

As with the first time, Beer will still be on the menu.

I'll need to get the frame on the truck by Aug 13th so I think an evening would be best to move it. How about Aug 11th around 7:30pm.

So, is there some willing helpers to get my frame up onto my truck? I think we had 6 total (including me) last time but I think we don't need that many, but as they say, many hands make light work.

Anyone....

Good to have you back! Aug 11 I'm out of town, but how about an evening this week?
 
Were are you going with the frame? i have a trailer that is plenty long enough to fit it, i used it to have mine sand blasted, didn't even take it off, just turned it over once on the trailer ( expanded metal deck )

Hi Rob, it's good to start getting back in the saddle so to say.

This week sometime would be alright if we could get enough guys. I'm thinking Friday or sometime on the weekend if that would work out. I'm not able to do it Wed or Thurs and I think tomorrow is just to short of notice.

Vince, that is a very nice offer. But the truck is going over to the Island for about 3 weeks where it will get the frame swap + done. Thanks for the offer but I think I'll just load it up on the roof rack and get it there that way.

Friday after dinner or anytime Saturday is fine. Sunday and the week after, I'm away.
