Need Shop for PPI in Newport Beach CA

Hey,

I have a friend that is looking to pick up a 99 100 series from Newport Beach, CA. He is in Northern California, so he needs a trustworthy shop to perform a pre purchase inspection. Does anyone have any recommendations?

The closest place I know of is Protrux in San Marcos. The owners name is Jim Ederer and he has a reputation for being fair and honest. A friend of mine has all his Toyota service performed there and has been satisfied.

I have taken my Toyotas to his sons shop, which is farther south, and been very satisifed. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, right?
