It's a 2020 HE and Iam looking for actual sales comps in the Texas market. Arguing for a settlement and they are giving me nothing for skids, rock rails, LRA, Slee rear bumper, ARB front, upgraded suspension, etc. Anything will help. Thanks,

If you're not at fault (which I think I remember seeing you weren't), they need to make you whole. You'll need to look at nationwide HE comps with similar miles, price the mods and install out, even better if you have your receipts from the first time.

Folks have mentioned Collision Safety Consultants before, you may reach out to them or a local attorney if your next attempt falls way short.

Also you may check cars and bids and bring a trailer for similarly modded HEs. They have been getting a good premium there.

+1 for cars and bids closed sales. Since you're NOT at fault, they need to make you whole. I have zero authority to grant this, but given that's the WHOLE POINT of insurance they need to make it right. Unfortunately from the outset, it looks like you're in for a slog to get there friend. Godspeed.

I'd throw a fit if they are trying to do that.

Sold values from cars and bids/bring a trailer should be considered as comps.

Find the possibly few HE's for sale certified used from Toyota dealers as they will be expensive and should be taken into consideration.

Blue book is out the window on a HE..

I'd get receipts or even quotes for your modifications, that should be included as well. That will add up to quote a bit with what you had done.

Best of luck

+1 on BAT and CB, especially BAT. Lots of HE sales there in the past couple months bringing strong numbers. Modded and OEMs.

BAT has 50 closed sales on Heritage Editions in various states of Stock/Mod

We expected this would happen. Ive been through this before on another limited edition vehicle and I ended up with arbitrator/appraiser to help me negotiate, which is why I suggested lining someone up cuz I expected a fight.

Find an appraiser in your area or within your vicinity and gather all your receipts. Generally, the appraiser will come out, inspect the truck, look at any invoices/receipts you have, and identify a value based on market. He/she will then work directly with the insurance co to get that value for you after discussing their valuation of the truck with you.

You MAY be able to wing this with BaT comps , I suspect they'll argue those values but worth a shot. The appraiser cost me $500 but got another $8000 in value. The ROI was solid for me.

GL Boss!

Don’t forget that appraiser guy that advertises on Facebook, I think his business is called Collision Safety Consultants.

Thanks guys. I did the BAT sales and created a spreadsheet and sent to the folks at Progressive. I also submitted all my receipts for the $15k spent at Slee, the drawers system and the Baertrax invoice for the suspension and the ARB up front, BB skids, WK sliders, and LRA fuel tank with all install costs as well. I included the Lightforce lights as well. All told about $30k. I know I left a lot off, in fact it reminds me I need to find the invoice for the SwitchPro & install. I’ll send that tomorrow. Thanks guys for all your help. I did hire an appraiser and have spoken to an attorney. I’ll get what I deserve, I’d love to get them up to $90, which is doable I believe.

Amica gave me $88k for 99% stock 2020 HE back in January. $6k was sales tax offset. They may have fought on the Trekboxx, but I was able to instead get them out along with my roof rack. It was its second collision, so I didn’t argue much.

Shame it was totaled as it didn’t look that bad,,,but frame supposedly bent.

& sorry to hear about you loss. HE’s getting rarer by the day.

Keep us all posted. I know it's a sad situation for a multitude of reasons, and as a big LC fan any fewer 200s out there for any reason is another cause for a moment of silence. Again, Godspeed @BIC JET

Be sure to add the buyer's vig on top of the auction hammer prices.

I had a major not-at-fault loss last year. Took a lot of data and standing my ground to get out of the ordeal whole.

Sounds like your ready for a fight, hold your ground.

Question on plans after settlement, another HE?

I actually had a really good call today with the adjuster. I kept it cordial and there was no yelling, I explained my position and was able to get him to go back to the drawing board. He said I could remove anything I wanted including bumpers, skids, Trekboxx, roof rack, sliders, anything I wanted that was aftermarket, but the facts are that the logistics to remove anything are somewhat insurmountable while trying work a day job. The drivers front suspension is toast and is where the frame is damaged. So, needless to say, I wouldn't be able to easily get it up on my lift much less into the shop without a tow truck. Sure, I have some wheel dollies, but the lift has drive on treads/no arms. So it would be sketchy to say the least. Further, I don't really want to be in the ebay business or shipping crap or anything like that. Removing the LRA would be a non-starter for me so its a definite no. The skids have zero damage. Bud Built are the winner hands dowen IMHO. I cannot see any damage to the White Knuckle sliders, but they took the majority of the impact. No frame damage along there however according to the laser though.

I’ll keep you all posted and let you know where it shakes out. Thanks for the well wishes and help.

I have added my name to the list of GX 550 Overtrail + edition. So most likely that is what I will end up doing. I also have an Ineos Grenadier, which I may trade in on the GX. I do like the Gren a lot however. Super capable, triple locked F/R/C, good clearance, aftermarket goodies getting better every day, but I just worry about the manufacturer turning into a Tucker, Bricklin, DeLorean in a few years…..so I am seriously considering the trade in of the Gren. No final decision yet as it is my DD right now.

Have you thought about a LX700H OT?
