Working on a '85 FJ60 with OEM A/C. System needs to be pressure tested, repaired if needed, then charged.

Josh is great, but likely has a 2 - 3 month wait to get your rig in. The guys at Land Cruiser NW are great too.

Hi Rat Patrol,

Suggestion: Check Portland Cruiser club for more specific chat on mechanics

I had my OEM a/c system inspected and recharged over at Beaverton Radiator, Inc.

They have r12 refrigerant and were fast / friendly.

Come on out to the "Dry Side" - Western Radiator in Pendleton kicks ass, has R12 and are old school Toyota fans...

Sorry, just had to interject a little east/west Oregon humor

Don't know how it is in Oregon, but here we just used the free AC rental tools from Autozone. They have the manifold gauges, vacuum, and leak detection kits free for 90 days. Pressure test it, find the leak, fix it, and recharge it. Quality Denso AC parts are available and relatively cheap, got all of ours through Amazon Prime to my doorstep. Anyways, just a suggestion if you felt like digging into it yourself.
