does anyone have one of these brake line splitters that they would sell me?...it mounts on the top of the frame rail in front of the master cylinder.....i have been searching for this part for a month...let me know

oh that stupid little brass fitting is not suposed to be there...the po brazed it on to fit some monkey a$$ brake line fitting

Marc, check the TAC forum. I have one that's 10mm. If that's of your '68 it should be a 9mm IIRC.

This for the 68? Good luck on getting that fitting. Try the folks in NH. If you are pulling your hair out trying to get all the 68 brake stuff to work, you might want to bite the bullet and upgrade all to newer brake componets.

Or... You could have that peice custom machined. I don't know what Toyota was thinking when they did this year! My guess is that they fired the engineer who drew up the specs!

i have been given a couple different versions...off various years and none look like this....all have 4 fittings for the lines not 3 like this one....i am hoping something turns up...i really dont want to/cant afford to do a brake conversion right now...hoping to put that off til summer of 06.....and yes it is the 68...what a strange year for the 40!!!!??

How about this...

use the later year "T" and 10mm fittings. You'll need to make new lines or at least cut off the old fittings from the lines but it'll work. GOt a dbl flair tool? You can find a 10mm T at NAPA im sure.

Don't chuck out the old fittings cause somebody will need them.

thanks iam headed to emporia on sat to pick up some seats from trainrech...he thinks he might have one....if not i might just have to figger out how to make the 4 fitting t work...i do not have a flaring tool but a local good ol boy shop does and knows how to use it...so i might enlist their help.

thanks...jake and i are comming down this weekend...i could pick it up and than drop it back once i finish up brakes....i have compiled a list of some????? for this weekend...i will probably drive you guys nuts....
