Can anyone recommend a shop in the nyc/long island metro area for suspension work? Up til this point, i've been planning on removing the AHC system in my 100 and replacing it with a conventional suspension. I was planning on doing this myself, but i'm starting to get cold feet.

what's the skinny on the removal process? What does the 100 Series forum on mud say?

There aren't any real instructions on complete removal. i've been reading and reading and i have a fair amount of "book knowledge" on the removal. I'm just nervous that should i snap a bolt or round one out, i won't have the means to get myself out of a mess. This is where help from the beginning would be nice.
I'm not familiar with the system on the 100 but I removed the air suspension in my old range rover and it was strait forward. The only thing that was a bit tricky was fooling the computer to thinking to air suspension was working properly. I found out which pins to jump out on a forum. I would double check the 100 tech forum. Someone must know.
