Hey guys. I finally have my Saginaw mounting kit in my 40, as well as permanent, V8 motor mounts and tranny crossmember mounts welded in. I found a very reasonable, professional, and knowledgeable mobile welder here in DFW named Mark Knapp. He welded in all my junk at Randy's shop last Sat AM, and did a damn good job for $150. Mark is a engineer and draftsman by trade and is a young, smart guy. His company is called Knappweld and you guys who need oxy, stick, MIG and TIG work done on your 4X4, or bumpers or sliders made, just email him at knappweld AT hotmail dot com and tell him I sent you. I gave him pictures of the sliders and bumpers I want and we went back and forth over the dimensions and thicknesses, and he will fab and deliver them and install them. No shipping, he hooks you up on the materials, and can do most anything. This is a great resource for guys who need welding, fabrication, etc. and don't want to go to Austin or Utah for those custom ideas and get murdered on shipping as well as pay for somebody's overhead.
