What? You've never seen a row of pink jeeps:D?

Not many pics - and I didn't have my pc to download:meh: - posted from BB.

Howdy! Sorry if this post is too late to do you any good.

If you ever need current trail info, drop me a line--I have been in the 4-wheeling business in Sedona for 13 years. Stop by the shop for trail info anytime. I am based at Farabee's in west Sedona--look for the line of red Jeeps out front.

The lower half of Schnebly is closed right now, but is usually open all year. The top half is closed in the winter, and the rim loop is always closed 12/15-4/1 for elk habitat protection.

Oak Creek Homestead (aka Cliffhanger) continues to erode, and Hummers are now running it, which tends to kick out the debris.

Broken Arrow and Soldier Pass are usually open under any conditions.

Happy trails,

Guys and Gals, Thanks for your advice. We had a great time exploring the Sedona area. Beaver Creek campground was a very nice place to camp. (no fish though as a previous storm "flushed" the fish down river...) We ran Broken Arrow on Saturday, and Oak Creek Homestead on Sunday. I thought the steep shelf road section on Oak Creek Homestead required more attention than anything on Broken Arrow. .....Enjoyed both trail runs tremendously. Each trail very picturesque in its own way. The drive back thru Jerome, and the 7400 ft elevation pass down the 89..was a nice surprise...can't wait to get back.

We're headed to Sedona and want to do some kinda mild stuff - taking the 4Runner and not the 40. Is there a map online somewhere, or a list of trails like this one from Moab?

Thanks in advance...

Thanks! Is Schnebly road open now?

PM sent.

But, when does "Spring" start? The coldest 90 days was over last week...

Schnebly is open to the mid-gate, about 4 miles up at Merry-go-round rock--so you still climb about 1000 feet above Sedona--the views don't suck :D. The top half is usually closed til April. The rim loop is always closed Dec 15 to April 1 for elk habitat protection.

I was thinking of coming in that way from I-17. Oh well - have to do it later in the year.
