trying to level my new used fridge. leveling legs were working ok until the hex heads began to strip. i would love to be able to jack this thing up an inch or so and freehand the leveling legs down, but i cant find a jack thats low enough. i have clearance of about 4 inches, closest thing i have is 5 1/2.

I trust you have pads under the feet if it's on hardwood flooring?

I usually use a flatbar for work like that, like this: Vaughan 45201 21 in. Extra Long Flat Bar Just get the end under a strong point and lever it up. Blocks of wood both under the fulcrum and the fridge will give you height if you need it.
