fj45 has been sitting along time and previous owner never had brakes working and 1 broken line,

attached is a pic of my master and a brake line going from master to inside the cab(leaking all over floor pan), the next broken brake line I can see is under the cab,

If any1 has a diagram of how my master brake/ and lines should look like it would b much appreciated. I dont have the haynes manual as that would probably help.

ebrake works fine, it is 4 wheel drum. What I may think has happened is the previous owner has lead the line into the cab (maybe due to leaking on the driveway), but I really have no clue. All I know 4 sure is that there is a main line from master going inside the cab pushed through the firewall and stops at my feet. :frown:

If you are not 100 percent comfortable with your ability to fabricate brake lines and replace brake components, please find someone who is to help you, or take that junk to a Land Cruiser shop and have it repaired properly.

You will have to fabricate brake lines, likely replace the master cylinder since the previous owner threaded a trailer brake T fitting into the master cylinder front circuit brake line adapter, and who knows what else is half-assed together on your brake system, if this is what you see when you open the hood, and you are stating that you have brake fluid dumping into the floor inside the cabin.

If that is what the brake system looks like, I can only imagine what the electrical system is like.

Where is the truck located?

truck is outside of toronto, any body recommend a good shop near burlington? I have a brand new master cyl if need be, the wiring and engine is all original and untouched. starts perfectly and engine has perfect compression. Just need some brake and clutch work? truck has been sitting a while
