Hey Guys,

I need some help fixing the headgasket on my landcruiser. If someone knows a good place near Cincinnati to get it fixed, I'll take it there. Any thoughts? Any idea how much a place will charge to get it fixed?

I would do it myself, but I have no time and have temp moved out of cincinnati, but still want my parents to be able to drive it in the winter.

I am also considering paying someone on this forum to do it for me. If you have successfully done it before, I am fine with you doing it. PM me if you are interested.

Thanks!! Hopefully I can get this up and running, it has been down for 2 months now :(

i am asking a buddy of mine that works at Kings Toyota if he would be interested in doing it as a side job...

i'll post up when he lets me know...

If he's the guy who openned my wife's brand new car door into the lift, he sucks......I can't let go.

Not at all....I mean the car had 2000 miles on it. Wouldn't have been bitter if they would have told me. Then they tried to touch it up with touchup paint and it looked like s***. Then they actually did a decent job. Then I have to deal with my FIL who was one of the team leaders in paint at the Georgetown plant. Not bitter anymore bc my wife smashed it up, but no woill never use them for service again.
I'm waitng for you to start working on the V8s so you can do my timing belt and water pump this spring.

My buddy has only been at Kings Toyota a coupler months now. He just moved back here from Az . I have known a couple other guys that have worked there and heard some horror stories too..

What can you expect from a dealership... They never want to admit to any kind of mistake... :ban:

Haven't heard back from him yet....
