Need help removing shifter knob

I searched here and and on google but can't seem to find the answer. I want to remove the shifter knob and replace it because the leather wrap is half gone. I have access to another cruiser with the leather intact.

I just twisted mine off.

I put my TRD knob on it shortly after I bought it.
