Need Help~Pulley on to Power Steering Pump?

Doing Romers power steering conversion, Is there a special tool or do I need to take it to some kind of shop to get the pulley onto the pump stem. I have searched the net and mud. I am unclear on how the two Match up, the pulley and bushing being tapered I can only get it so far onto the shaft. Can post pics. if that will help.

There is a pulley tool that can be picked up cheap at Harbor Freight.

Make sure the long part of the hub faces OUTWARDS or you will be cutting the pulley off, ordering a new one and starting over. Don't do what I did (first picture of this thread)

Depending on how often you need the tool, you can also get a loaner from autozone for free. Pay the deposit ~$30 and then return it when you're done to get your deposit back.
