My 19 year old son is traveling from Florida back home to Utah in a stock Lexus GX and got himself stuck off road north of Vienna IL. He’s used to his lifted, triple locked 80 series. Anyway. He spent all night trying to get it unstuck to no avail. He doesn’t even have a shovel with him apparently (yeah, he should’ve known better). Anyway, looking for a kind citizen in the area who might be available to assist, or know someone or someplace that does recovery. The kid grew up off-roading so knows a bit, and claims it wouldn’t take much. Message from the boy:

i’ve got my self stuck on a little trail just north of vienna illinois last night. i just got and it just slipped into a ditch and got high centered i don’t have any of my gear like i normally do in my 80, don’t even have a shovel like an idiot! But after a night of digging and trail building with sticks and logs i’ve got no luck, its hard up on her belly.
Current coordinates: 37.48826, -88.87777
It’ll be a straight forward recovery just need a winch or maxtrax or both. I just stopped to find a place to camp, southern Illinois southeast of Carbondale.
