Hello everyone my name is Elyas and I am new to this forum and need some help with my 2002 lx470.
I was told the lx 470 is very similar to the 100 series Landcruiser and wanted your thoughts, opinions, and any help with an engine swap.
I want to remove my v8 from the lx 470 and put a 1hd fte enjine instead. The v8 gets terrible fuel economy and in general I like diesels more..
Cost is not an issue however I do want to keep the original automatic gearbox from the lx470.
My question is des the gearbox and enjine bolt on.
And woupd i have to fabricate engine mounts or can i use some kind of existing mount
