Wanted Need H55/3B Driveshafts for BJ42

I have the H55 in process, but need both drive shafts. Yes, I know my current shafts can be modified, but looking for H55-specific ones first.

I'm in Northern California.

I won't need them until January or thereabouts...

I may be done with my install by then and should know if I'd need the shafts I have... I have a BJ44 so I may need the front but I think I have the shafts for a h55f 40/42 and won't be able to use the rear...

I don't know if 70-series shafts would swap into a 40-series? I'll try to find out. Thanks!

I would bet the lengths are different. The other problem is that the flange bolt patterns are different. You would have to swap the flanges on the axles/tcase or the shafts to get them all to match.

I may be doing my tranny swap in the next week or so. If so, I'll have those shafts. Do you need front, rear or both? With my lift, my stock rear sdriveshaft should still work. I have an FJ60 shaft I may try to measure up to see if that works for the front. IF all goes well, I should have at least the rear shaft for you!

FYI-

FJ62 front driveshaft (us version, auto transmission) is the right length for the front of a 5 speed fitted 40 series although the flange ends are different (larger pattern).
