polarweasel said:Good to know, even though it doesn't answer my semi-hijack question... So why would you have to change out the pickup? Just if it's gone bad, or is there some kind of difference between them?
Or am I confused about what a "pickup" is?
Greg_B said:Yes. The gasser has two lines coming out the tank, as does the 12HT and 13BT. The 3B and 2H are single line.
As Charles says, any FJ/HJ/BJ 6* tank will do...Just change the pickup if required.

The second line is the return line. It brings excess fuel back to the tank. Dunno why 3Bs don't have one. My Mercedes does, so I'll be just fine with my FJ60 tank...nickw said:Why does the 12HT and 13BT need a second line?

Greg_B said:I suppose you could leave the FJ two tube unit in, and plug the return tube...but you better be sure the plug will not come off, allowing moisture into the tank.
