Hello Everyone,

First of all, I am glad to join to the world's most useful forum.
I just got my 2013 Land Cruiser 200 with twin turbo V8 engine. So I am planning to buy these mods below:

Front Bumper: VPR 4x4 Ultima bumper PD-084
Rear Bumper: ARB 561520 (with tire carrier)
Roof Rack: ARB 3800040M
Rear Diff Lock: ARB RD152
Wheels: TRD 17" Rock warriors
Spacers: Spidertrax 1.25"
Tires: 285/70/r17 BF Goodrich All Terrain
Winch: Smittybilt 12,000lb XRC GEN2
Lights: ARB Intensity LEDs

For the suspension set up, I have an ethical delimma between ICON or Radflo. I have read some disussions regarding both kits but I still can't deside which one to choose. Icon will gain 0" to 3.5" lift and Radflo will 2.5" but I want to lift the truck more.

Which suspension kit will be handle best on and off road? and also for long run ...
Please kindly share your experience with those two kits. Thanks.

After I make my desision on the suspension, I will add Total Chaos UCAs and the rear OME HD coils.

Regards,
Bill

Congrats on your purchase!
I will say that when doing my research on both systems (Icon and Radflo) I learned that both will need to be serviced within two to three years, depending on how many miles you drive a year. I purchase Icon but have yet to install (still collecting / buying stuff) If you want hassle free system then that'd be an OME system - as I've been told (someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that statement). Buy the best you can afford and don't look back - at least thats my mentality

What makes you want the spacers?
Again congrats on your purchase!

Thank you for your reply Willy.

At first, I was thinking to have OME kit but people say it is stiffy for on road performance. I am not really a off road guy but planning to travel around the country.

I have seen a 200 series that installed both icon and radflo kits and Icon leveled the cruiser well I think.

For the spacer, I was thinking it will be look better instead of installing larger tires/rims.

What is the difference btw coilovers and coilovers that have reservoir? Which one I should run with?

Had Radflos (non remote reservoirs) in for 3 years, selected on the 'KISS' basis. No issues to date. Still running sweet as a very sweet thing. :steer:

yep 285/65/18 Trail Grapplers on XD monsters, 5 x 150 with 35mm os. Not sure on the load rating of the wheels but after 100k miles certainly no detectable bearing wear given the reduced offset from stock (doubt 25mm per side hurts much anyway)

At 35mm offset wheels still inside wheel arches so no grit splatter on door/body panels and looks way better stance-wise imho.

I was looking for an E-lockers in the States but I could not find it. Where did you get them from? AU? Any source in US?

Eaton distribute their hardware downunder through a partnership with Harrop Engineering, retail through Opposite Lock chain and a bunch of others. Strange that you can't find them up there considering they are a US product. (Try Just Differentials) Guess the market for 200s is just too small up there? Down here they are best money can get if you want a reliability and toughness. Its a regular debate but imho E-lockers are a no-brainer over airlockers.

Yeah the market is too small in US. Actually I don't want to install an air compressor to activate the lockers. Based on my research, it always has an issue.
Guess Eaton E lockers are the latest generation of the differentials. I hope I can get it from Australia.

The reservoirs allow from more oil capacity and ability to dissipate heat. Thus, coilovers with reservoirs will not overheat as fast as non-coilovers, making them more effective for running at high speeds over washboard type of terrain. They provide little or no advantage for highway driving or slow speed off road driving. But, they look very cool. Last weekend, I blasted my heavily loaded 4runner with front and rear ICON coilovers as fast as I dared in the desert east of El Centro without any degradation in the ability of the shocks to dampen.

I meant to say will not overheat as fast as coilovers without reservoirs
