Hi, I have a 75 fj55 but have run into a 70 fj55 parts car...missing many things and somewhat rusted. Prices are a little high for me. Anyway, if any of you guys can point me in the direction of important parts to pull (most not good for my fj but tradeable) it would be great.

Have not had my 55 long enough or done enough work on it to guess at what I should try to rescue on this 70 Fj55.
Thanks, Eric

tail lights, mirrors, dome light, strikers and latches, door hinges, rear window motor, tailgate rubber if it's salvageable.

TKS, pulled what I can in that regard (mostly) tailgate motor and tailgate hardware. Figure on things like the breaker etc.. Removed all relays thus far found. Shooting for the whats there on that list of yours. Just wondering about things like early hood (good) and early drver door (quarter rust out on bottom osd corner bout half dollar size) etc. ?

those parts are always needed by someone. ..it all depends on the money and space you have to store all the parts.

I'll buy the hinges for the drivers door if they are in good shape!

I'l see about that. I pulled the drivers door bottom because mine needs repair. These have a plate that looks like the Toyota/SOR graphic where my 75 has a rectangular door jam plate. Think they will match but do not know the dif. between 70 and 75. Anyway, If the 70 remains there I will probably swing by tomorrow and buy the whole thing...but its just a parts car with a lot of parts missing....still, that is better than nickle and dimeing myself to death.
Eric.

If it has any of that rare stuff you come across sometimes like floormats, or original tools. Also heaters and the lines to the rear, and emblems are good things to snag. And like nuclearlemon said light. I would take every light.

Mostly not. Someone beat me there by a week and picked up a 78 for $800.00 and stopped by the 70 for easy pickings.
