anybody got a setup they really like?

I just got a pioneer AVH200 with the pioneer back up camera. It was inexpensive and simple to install. I’ve only had it a few weeks but it works well so far. I can post some pics if you’re interested.

kenwood excelon DNX694S has ability to run backup and an HD front camera, this tied to a 40 watt booster actually drowns out the mud grapplers, and thats neo easy task

Pioneer Avec 8200 NEX here. Not the cheapest option out there, but I really like it. Dual camera suppport, Apple CarPlay, bolts right in and is plug and play. No trimming or cutting. Fits like it was meant to be there.

Other people's setups are slicker than mine. But, mine was cheap. So, I'll throw it out there.

I got a Pioneer AVH-x390bs for a little over $200 along with an already installed RV backup camera on the rear hatch spoiler. These cameras run about $30 and are actually really nice. My camera has good night vision with IR LEDs that light up. Here's a night time shot:

You can see the camera mounted in this picture:

During the day, the picture is very clear and in color of course.

Here's my full setup for about $250. Again, it's the cheap option.

I put an Amazon special Chinese knockoff Android headunit in. When it works it actually works pretty well, but......I have received 2 replacement units from Atoto (the manufacturer or reseller/whatever). My current unit has started doing something fun where the screen blanks into a solid white blob. I was advised by the manufacturer to uninstall the device, take off the casing and pull the ribbon cable to the display which makes it work again for a few days, rinse and repeat.

I picked it because it can be rooted, but it's not worth the trouble. I think I'm going to go to a bluetooth 4ch. amp and use that space in the dash for something else entirely.

I went with a Kenwood DDX470 with an Esky back up camera. I wanted something that didn't really look aftermarket and I for sure wanted an actual volume knob. This head unit checked both of those boxes for me. I haven't actually reinstalled the back up camera since adding swing outs but it was nice when it was on. I also added in a camera that looked the same but it was a 170* non mirrored image for a front camera.

Headunit runs to a kicker KX400.4 amp to power the four 6.5" KS65s and to a CX 300.1 to power my non existent sub. It's been trouble free ever since I installed it except for the occasional time I have to reset the Bluetooth connection.
