need advice before buying 2003 4Runner

I have found a 03 4runner with about 165k miles...Seems like a good deal at the price point, 2500. Why would it be so cheap? What do I need to look at to understand the cheapness of it...It has not been wrecked, that I know of. I want to build me another overland toy so I was just wondering if I am missing something...I have never had a 4runner

check the frame, ive seen them rust out like the tacos and theres no extended warrantee on them. the rear hatch also rusts out as well
