I’m in Columbia, Missouri.

I’ve been working with an automotive sun shield company in Morgan Hill, CA. They already have sun shields for our 100-Series for the windshield, 1st row (driver’s row), and rear hatch. The side shades and rear hatch use suction cups.

They sent me tracing paper to outline the 2nd and 3rd row windows. I also wrote in the measurements on the tracing paper. They have the 2nd and 3rd row mock-ups done. I want shades for all windows for privacy during camping, overlanding.

I’m looking for someone that would be willing to run their 100 over to their shop to test fit the 2nd and 3rd row shades! They said that would be just fine. They said if they get more than 10 orders, they’ll even put a custom logo on it for a group of us. Address is:

Heatshield
18850 Adams Ct
Morgan Hill, CA 95037

Let me know! Thanks!

If anybody is interested in helping, we can exchange phone numbers and I’ll set up the visit.

Oh man, do they?!? I’ll have to plug in a 470!

Just bought the entire set. I’ll contact them tomorrow and let them know they can use the LX470 shields for Land Cruisers. Thanks a bunch, @95Fantasma80. Use code BFCM18 at checkout. It saved me $50! I went with the gold outer because I really wanted the black inner backing. Can’t get that with the silver outer. Inner is white.

thats great! @harrydunn

please post some pictures and intitial review, been looking for some of the side window covers but nothing has pushed me over edge.

Yes, will do! We’ve used DIY “curtains” when we’ve slept back there before. Works but the setup is time consuming when all you want to do is sleep.

Thanks for the heads up and the Black Friday code (good through 11/30). I picked up the 3rd row and rear hatch window heatshields for $60.
I'm hoping to drop the temps and direct sunlight back there to help out with fridge performance... and also keep my unrefrigerated perishables, fresher.

Awesome. Post up some pics when you get them.

I contacted them this morning and spoke with Jorge (who has been great to work with if anybody needs a contact). He took the tracings I did and laid them up against their existing LX470 shields and said they matched well. I guess my tracings were fairly accurate. They will update their page soon to include shades for all windows on Land Cruisers as well as the existing LX470 shades.

Why were you looking for test vehicles, they heatshields already exist for our rigs. I have the full set on mine, been stuck on my windows ( except front ) all summer long with no issues.
