I am hoping there are 3 of you in need of 1 RW. I have 4 and need one more for my spare but don't want to buy new. If we can find a good used set we can split it 4 ways. Who's interested and we can coordinate finding it. I have a great UPS rate so I can help with shipping costs if you find a set near you. Just ask that you ship the remaining 3.

not a great deal but the only one that showed up on search tempest for craigslist.
Good luck looking. Broaden your search to include Ohio, KY and TN. I've seen more there in the past than anywhere else. If in either of those locations I may be able to pick them up for you if no one else lives out here that groups with your purchase. I have purchased two sets from Northern KY / Ohio. UPS's main hub is here in Louisville so that may help out along with your discount rate? How do you get a discount with UPS anyhow? I ask because my family owns a large distributorship (9 locations / 5 states) and our rates seem to be the same as Joe Blow's.

Thanks Willie. Funny how all the tundra guys get rid of them and the 200 guys can't wait to swoop in. He's asking $900 obo. $225 each plus shipping.

I could use one for a spare. depending on price of course. I would need it shipped to 98230 though. (Blaine, Wa)

The company I work for is UPS largest customer in CO so we have negotiated really good rates. :) do you have a UPS sales guy or do you call in for customer service?

Shouldn't be a problem bj70cruiser for shipping. I'm assuming we'll need to ship to each person across the country. Not too interested in the tire as I will probably get a used one locally. So we can see if they will sell cheaper with out the tire. That adds weight and box size to our shipping cost.

I need one. So count me in.

I can't find any near me, though.

Closest set to me is on Phoenix CL and that's a long ways away.

$900 is expensive for a used set. I picked up my set of 4 for $425 on craigslist and my spare for $100 on ebay. I would keep looking. You should also ask the seller for the part number and make sure it is the updated version PTR45-34120.

(Edited to show the new part number)

I agree that price is higher than a humpback.

Alright we'll keep looking. I've got rigger and bj70. One more and we should be good.

You can sign me up for 1 spare... 30005 outside of Atlanta.

I have never seen a set for sale cheaper than the $700 I paid. And I have never seen a set for sale anywhere near Sheridan, WY, where I live. I will continue to check CL in MT, WY, CO, SD and ND. I also put up a "Wanted" thread in Wheels & Tires in the classifieds here on MUD.

It'd be great to score a set for cheap like mtnracer did.

Here's a set:

I talked to the guy but he did not seem interested in shipping them.

I have a buddy in Phoenix who could probably get them for us. I checked shipping from Phoenix to Colorado is $7. Just for rim. Not tire.

$7 per rim for shipping seems really low, like maybe an error?

In any event, if your buddy could go get them for us, that'd be great. Maybe he could get for less than the $850 asking price? It says "OBO" in the ad. Say he gets 'em for $750. And it costs $20 each to ship 'em. And we give your buddy $50 for his time. That's $220 per rim. I'd pay $220 for one, so there it is!

:smokin:

That set is tires, wheels, lugnuts and the tpms sensors, that doesnt seem too bad. Plus everything is negotiable on CL. You have to start high because the lowball offers are ridiculous on that site.

$7 is correct remember my great UPS rate. Do tire shops have boxes that will fit the tires? What is rough weight of tire? The wheel weighs about 30lbs.

There's another set in Sandpoint, ID. A bit more spendy, but they sure look good!

Word to the wise:
The TRD center caps (new) are cheap to pick up. If I was you guys I'd go ahead and order one so its there waiting on the wheel to show up.
You can also get the little torx bolts for cheap too. Nice , new and shiny! If you don't get the lug nuts with the wheels plan on dropping over $100 if you want the TRD ones - I think others have found alternative less expensive sources for those.

your company must have had some serious negotiations to get rates that low. With those kind of skills you could save hostages lives.

If I could export a Diesel 200 here, I'd be golden in freight charges!
