That's not lazy, that's smart time management. I won't be blasting mine either.....don't want to breathe that stuff and don't have the time to blast and clean up the driveway.
I'm not sure the year matters as long as the carb will bolt up and the whole assembly will fit my block. I'll be capping the EGR outlet anyway, since the most sense is to desmog it while I'm changing out the manifolds.
I got word that my diesels will be shipping out from Japan next week, so in 30 days, I'll have a diesel to start thinking about putting in the 40 this winter. Unless I change my mind, this manifold will only serve for a few months. If I change my mind, the 13BT goes in the FJ45 and the 2F stays in the 40.
