Hi All,

Long time no see... Finally got my engine broken apart. I need a source for a cam and lifters. I'll be calling a few vendors tomorrow but wanted to get a post here in case someone has a lead.

If your current cam / lifters are suitable for refinishing, these guys have a good reputation and are in Tacoma. (Did a set for me 12+ years ago) I'd rather resurface good toyota stock than roll the dice on aftermarket new.

this particular royal purple FULL Synthetic engine oil is specific to in-block cams , solid lifters and push rods / tappets , its zinc rich formula in 20w50 covers ALL ov the lower 48 states , 1962

FJ40- 1992 3FE FJ80 and ALL F series engines in between too , 2F 3F carb 3FE FJ62 etc ...........
