Navigation System Hack

I have a 2015 Toyota Land Cruiser GXR. I would like to install Waze on the built-in android systems. Did anyone try to root it? Attaching some screenshots. I hope this helps.

And there is a micro SD slot.

How did you get into the system info?

I had a 2007 Camry that had a backdoor access to the system, allowing you to get at all kinds of information via a key press combination. I’d heard that Toyota had subsequently blocked/changed this, rendering it inaccessible. If we could access similar functionality in our modern Cruisers, I’d be very interested.

Its interesting that they are using Android OS but won't support Android Auto or CarPlay. The fact that the LC is $85k and they havnen't even updated to Entune 3.0 is also disappointing, though not enough to keep me from getting one, just disappointing.
