Navajo National Monument

I'm heading back to Wellton, Arizona (down by Hell, I mean Yuma) for Christmas to visit my family and I'm taking the long way though SE Utah. I'm wondering if the Navajo National Monument is worth the side trip. Any opinions on the area?
