Good evening all!

I just sold my 4Runner, and I’m now in the market for a 2005-7 Land Cruiser or LX 470. The truck will be my daily driver, which isn’t saying a lot right now; I’m probably clocking less than thirty miles a week (picking my kids two and five year old up from school/daycare).

I am looking for a truck with no rust that is well maintained with less that 175k miles. Stock/OEM is great, but the truck does not *need* to be stock. Mild builds are great too. If you’ve improved/replaced/upgraded OEM parts, and those parts are in still in great shape, it is still in my wheelhouse. I like Black, Grey and Silver, but the color isn’t super important. Color, specific years and mileage are less important than the truck being rust-free and well maintained.

Basic Priority Listing is as Follows:
No Rust=Well Maintained>Model Years>Mileage>Color

You must be willing to entertain shipping the vehicle. I am only willing to drive but so far. I am serious buyer, but I don’t need to buy right now. Due to COVID, my family can get by with one vehicle, so, if you think you want to sell but aren’t ready RIGHT NOW, please still consider dropping me a line.

Budget is flexible; it’ll largely depend on what is being offered.

Please feel free to message me directly or to post here. If you have questions or think there is anything I should have stated but didn’t, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you all for your time!

Respectfully,

RT

Hello, I am in Charleston and looking for the exact same thing! If I find something here and its not exact to my liking, I will keep you posted. Also, if I buy one and happen to run across another, I will let you know. Please do the same for me ;)

x3 for me...feels like slim pickins right now.

Hey guys- I don't know if it's any of your wheel houses, but my 100 will be for sale soon. 03 just turned 200k, mid-built with front bumper, winch, trekboxx system of course, suspension, dual batteries- the usual stuff. I really don't want to sell this truck! It's been flawless. I had to replace a door lock. Other than regular maintenance and upgrades, of course.

No rush as I'm waiting for another rig to arrive and take over duties that the 100 currently fulfills. Pm me if you have any interest. I'm still working out details.

My 06 LC is going up this month. Undecided whether it’ll be BAT or Autotrader/Craigs. Happy to make it available to a Mud member. Black/gray. 116k miles. No AHC. New 33” BFG’s , otherwise totally stock. It’s a unicorn.

Prior Toyota CPO, Texas and CA/OR car that is very clean with zero rust. T belt and pump done , needs nothing according to Toyota dealer.

PM me for more info.

Man, I may have to let mine go. It could be perfect for someone here, especially someone willing to wait another month or so. Pearl White 2006 LX470 142,xxx miles. Texas truck=no rust. Runs and drives perfect. AHC works awesome, night vision, all the bells and whistles. I haven't owned it long, but sadly situations change. Hopeful to get most of what I paid and put into it back. Reluctantly considering this. If this meets someones search, send me a PM and we can begin a dialog. Not posting asking price, at this time because that makes it too real, ugh. Sad times.

@Travis Drilling , I tried sending you a PM, but couldn’t make it work. Could you try sending one my way please?
Thanks

Amazing! Look at the # of responses. Go figure. Maybe I should sell mine? Hmmmm?
How about a 2007 LX470 that has been sitting in climate/human controlled storage and monitored by government contractors (at Gov expense) for the past 2.5 years, and will be there for 6 more months, just being run once a month. And, it’s bone stock OEM, was serviced from head to toe right before it went into storage, had a Toyota certified tranny installed one month, 1200 miles, before it went into storage, and EVERYTHING is in excellent working order. What would this be worth to you, or anyone on the market? Nice silver, gray leather, clean carpets, geez, I think it has 145k, but can’t remember off the top of my head, exactly, but certainly under 175k. I’ve seen wrecks for $20-$25k, high mileage, needs serviced, smoked in, worn tires and brakes, etc, etc, etc. Mine also has brand new Michelin LTX MS 2’s and sensors, new premium ceramic brake pads and slotted rotors, all new belts, hoses, fluids, and of course plugs, wires, and filters, and things I can't remember, really. My wife would probably kill me. I wouldn't let it go for less than $30,000.00. Oh yeah, rear entertainment in each headrest tool, with the original headsets, all original floor mats in great condition. OH, my bad…the speakers were upgraded, and they sound soooooo much better than OEM’s. You go buy an ’07, and then spend what I’ve spent on having just the basis done. You’ll see. The nice thing is, It’s not $119,900.00 MSRP! What can you get for $30k these days? Junk, that’s it. Maybe a Nissan, Suzuki, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Isuzu, even a Toyota, an entry level car, or can you even buy one of those anymore, for under $30k, hell IDK? Probably not. Who wants one of those anyway!

Look, if you can find an ’07 LX or LC (ton’s of people looking!) especially in as good a condition as mine, for under say $28k (but you’ll have to do ALL the services after)…well, great for you. Good luck!

I think you’re fishing, hoping, dreaming, stirring up the scene. Of course, you will get those who are trying really hard to get out of the LC/LX business. Ha.
