The part is pretty easy to identify, but have you ever seen it with this option. I removed my engine to rebuild it and took it out with the trans and TC attached. This what I niticed at the rear of the TC. The nut on the shaft inside this cover was not staked well enough it appears. There were no wierd noises the last time I drove it and a visual inspection didn't show anything wrong. The not loosened untill it was rubbing on the cover and had almost wore all the way through. There was no damage to the threads at the end of the shaft so I put the nut back on and staked it well. Here's hoping.
