2000 LX470. Installed a new head unit and everything was working fine until I unplugged the factory amp. I've seen it said that the 2 yellow and blue wires, and the 2 gray wires need to be jumped at the orange amp connector to get power to the head unit. I get no power when I jump those but my radio will get power if I plug the amp back in. What am I missing here?

“To bypass the amp the AUX power and BATT power need to be bypassed (maybe you can use the Batt+ wire instead of bypassing?)

To bypass the AUX power, on the orange connector, clip and connect the two gray wires.

To bypass the BATT power, on the orange connector, clip and connect the Blue/Yellow wire with the White wire”

From your own description:

It sounds like you might have the gray wires, but might off on the blue/yellow to white?

I received this yesterday. Perhaps it will help you.
